Activity Day tour with Viking boat

Torsten, the owner of the holiday home, dreamed of strong Vikings and their longships as a child. After a long search, he found an experienced boat builder - who built the replica (approx. scale 1:3) of the Oseberg ship Longship, approx. 22m long and 5m wide (Most important find from the Viking Age - 1904 by Swedish and Norwegian excavated by archaeologists).

Interesting thing by the way

The Viking helmets with horns are the invention of a costume designer by Richard Wagner in the opera cycle “The Ring of the Nibelung”.
